Our Research
Zadeh Lab investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive brain tumor development, progression, and response to treatment. Through integrated genomic, epigenomic, and computational analyses, our research seeks to better understand differences between tumors, identify biomarkers of disease behavior, and develop more precise approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
A central focus is meningioma, including molecular classification, tumor heterogeneity, the tumor microenvironment, and predictors of recurrence and treatment response. Our work also extends to gliomas and other brain tumors, integrating laboratory discoveries with clinical data to inform more individualized care.
Working with clinical and scientific collaborators at Mayo Clinic, University Health Network, and internationally, we aim to translate findings from tumor biology into practical tools that support clinical decision-making and the development of new therapeutic strategies.
